Dijital Tabela (Digital Signage)
Digital signage that shows menus and announcements on TV screens for restaurants, cafés and shops: an Android TV app, an offline edition and a Windows player.
Dijital Tabela is a digital signage solution I built so that restaurants, cafés and shops can show their menus, promotions and announcements on TV screens. It has three parts: an account-based Android TV app, an edition that runs on its own without internet, and a Windows player that drives several screens.
Key features
- Android TV app: sign in with an account and play the content assigned to the screen full-screen, without interruption
- Starts automatically when the device boots, keeps the screen awake and rotates 90°/180°/270° for portrait screens
- Offline edition: a small web server runs on the TV itself; content is managed from a phone by scanning the QR code on screen and entering a PIN
- Playlists of images, videos and YouTube links: add, delete, set display time and reorder
- Windows player: manage several physical screens separately, kiosk mode, start with Windows and remember the session
Technologies
Android TV: Flutter, Dart, Riverpod, Dio, WebView; an embedded HTTP server with Shelf in the offline edition. Windows: C#, .NET 8, WPF.
